Who we are
ChimaeraCo is the web and IT side of The Chimaera Company LLC, based in Atlanta, GA. The same company runs Chimaera Comics, an online comic and collectibles shop, so we build and operate real storefronts, inventory and checkout systems ourselves, not only for clients. That is why the sites we design connect to the tools a business actually runs on.
We do not use a house style. Each project starts from the business it is for: its work, its customers and its photos. You can see the range on our work page and in the design range.
What we do
Website design + build
From a refresh of what you already have to a full rebuild. Mobile-first, fast, accessible, and built so search engines actually find you.
Business email
Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace on your own domain. We move you off old providers without losing mail, set up shared inboxes and calendars, and lock down spam and phishing.
IT setup for your office
Computers, Wi-Fi and networks, printers, backups, user accounts and security. Set up right for a new office or a growing team, and documented so nothing lives in one person's head.
Integrations with the tools you already use
Booking platforms, point-of-sale, payment processors, email, scheduling, CRMs. Your website should talk cleanly to the systems running your business.
Custom features and back-end systems
Member portals, online ordering, dashboards, scheduling, gift cards, internal tools. If off-the-shelf can't handle what you need, we build it.
Ongoing maintenance and content
Content updates, security patches, new users and devices, performance monitoring, and help when something breaks. So you don't have to think about it.
How a project runs
Research
We start by studying your current site, your competitors, and the way real visitors interact with both. We look at how search engines see you, how the site runs on mobile, and where the friction is. You get the report whether you hire us or not.
Build
We design and build in clear phases. You see the work as it ships. Most projects take two to six weeks depending on scope. Everything stays connected to the tools you already use.
Maintain
After launch we stay on as your retained partner. Updates, content changes, performance monitoring, new features as the business grows. Small monthly fee, no surprise invoices.
