Surfing Deer Restaurant
Beachfront New American on Florida's 30A. A concept rebuild of their public website.
An upscale 30A restaurant's menu was trapped inside a PDF flipbook. We rebuilt the site with a coastal-editorial direction, a native searchable menu, and structured data so search engines could finally index every dish, price, and dietary note.
The problem
The current site keeps the dinner menu inside a slow-loading PDF viewer. Search engines can't read the dishes, prices, or dietary notes. When a tourist Googles the kind of food the restaurant actually serves, the restaurant doesn't show up. Their competitors do.
Our approach
Rebuilt as a clean, mobile-first marketing site with a real HTML menu page wrapped in structured data. Native sections for starters, mains, desserts, and cocktails, each with photography, pricing, and dietary tags. Sticky reservation CTA on every page, embed slot for their existing booking provider, gift card flow, private events page. Coastal-editorial aesthetic with warm cream backgrounds, deep teal primary, sunset coral accent.
Outcome
Concept site live as a leave-behind. Demo URL included in the cold pitch alongside a free audit report. Designed so the menu rebuild is the centerpiece of the engagement.
